I've often wondered that when you have a group of 4 sows say and you have just given them a handful of veg and whatnot why they often pinch it from each others mouths even when there is plenty? ?
 
ive been trying to work this one out, Poppy is a nightmare for it, always robbing cookies and maisys ::)
 
i know i've got boars but Mr. D and Mr. B do that to each other...but its with everything...maybe a case of anything you can do i can do better! :smitten: would be totally cool if one day i could understand what the boys were saying! like harry potter of the guinea pig world... 98) i need sleep
 
I have five sows together and they always try and pinch stuff out of each others mouths but there is exactly the same food infront of them ;D
Dunno why they do it...
 
all my piggies try taking it out of other piggies mouths and some times they succeed.
 
Mine do the same i never thought about it befor but yeah instead of gettin there own they would go to the trouble of following another pig and pinching it maybe its because they think the other pig is gettin more and are worried they arnt going to get there share ;D or maybe just plain old GREED :smitten:
 
Bumble and Bee do this, or they both sit eating the same piece of veg from different ends when there is another exactly the same right by them 98) Sephy and Maggie are good, they seem to know that they have one each of everything lol!

god i wish my boys were that sensible...yesterday i put 2 carots in and they had a mini arguement just some pouting and stroping around the cage over who got the long thin one and who got the short fat one! they must of made friends as they're chatting away over breakfast!
