Does anyone in your family change the names of your piggies?

I have one called Maisey and one called Cookie. Everytime i have a new piggie my sister who is 18 keeps changing their names because she's not happy with them. She calls Maisey, Muffin and Cookie was Flora but my sister changed it to Cookie. i got so fed up with telling her that ITS NOT COOKIE!ITS FLORA! that i gave in so she's now called Cookie. Oh yeah, and the other piggie i had who died this year was called Skye again my sister didn't like it so kept calling her Brandy and then everyone set her name as Brandy so i gave in.
But this time, it's ridicious! I am not changing Maisey's name to Muffin. My sister isn't gonna get away with it this time. She has a hamster called Rosie and i've said "Ok, in that case Rosie is now called Sam." but i haven't been calling her it, i still say Rose, or Rosie.
(I am quite surprised that she hasn't changed my syrian hamsters name who is Honey. But she has added ' Honey roast' to it lol but at least she's still got 'Honey' in her name. But i didn't think up her name, my dad did. If i chose it she probably would've changed it completely!)
And i'm pretty fed up with keep saying Its Maisey. So my sister calls her Muffin and i call her Maisey but she makes sure my parents call her Muffin or Maisey Muffin.

I am sure when i get my children, my sister will be changing their names and that really would be immature! grrrr

Anyone else have people who change their piggies/or other pets names and it browns you off?

oops, just realised i've posted this in the gallery and not in guinea pig general lol can someone move it?

my family think i am mad giving my piggies names they say what is the point they dont know there names but when i talk to them i call them by there name there is only myself and my 10 year old son who know who is who my husband put them all away for me one evening this summer he doesent have a lot to do with my piggies he had to ask my son to help him as he dident know who lived where rolleyes

my grandmother laughs when i talk about my piggies as i refer to them by their names or nicknames. for example " Ruby is such a bossy pig, Pheobe seems like she's naughty and annoying her! "
but how else would you refer to them? my mum reckons i should just call them their nicknames, so instead of pheobe, ruby, bethany, maggie-may and sonny, it'd be munchkin, sweetcheeks, baby boo, princess tink and charlie/jimmyjim! LOL! no way:x:x:x:x

My dad has given one of my pigs a nickname, one that only he calls her. Lottie is Lottery. Other than that, luckily no-one changes the names of my lot. I would not let them. I worked bloomin' hard to get the right names for them!
