Teenage Guinea Pig
So Badger had some problems with some very small 'burs' on his molars in February time, he saw the savviest vet around for pigs who sedated him (not fully) and filed them down. Since then I've been plying them with all of the tastiest hays to try to keep as filed down as possible, and thus far been successful.
I noticed this morning though that he's gaping again and acting like he has food trapped. His mouth also sounds moist when he moves it, so he's dribbling a tad. So he has the vets on Monday, hopefully as quick a fix as last time. Not that I begrudge the expense at all (I'd pay everything I had for my pigs or other animals if they needed it), but they always seem to know when you're at your poorest!
Never thought I'd have a dental pig
