Well, I keep my piggies outside underneath a large car port, but due to Novas pregancy, I have decided to bring them indoors, as the temperature is changing quite alot outside! It is their first night inside, and the poor things look absolutely traumatised! They're huddled in their pigloo, bless them. As time goes on, will they get more confident about being inside? I feel a bit cruel at the moment but know it's for the best in the long run, as the babies need a good strong start to life, and my friend, who is a veterinary nurse, says it's the right thing to do :)

I'm sure they will soon settle. Any change in surroundings can unnerve a piggie but give them a couple of days and they should be fine. I love having my piggies indoors with me. Although, every time they hear the fridge door opening they start wheeking at me to bring them a treat:(|)

Some piggies are anxious wee things... they'll soon settle and appreciate the comforts of being inside! It took mine a few days to get used to outside time!

They'll soon adjust. Just be aware that they will initially be panicked by any noises that are 'new' to them.

I startled my newbie the other day by opening a bag of crisps near her for the first time!grrrr

They will get used to it and then much prefer it!

I bet they come out of their shells more than before and fast.

I love having the girls inside , i think you can learn so much more of their personality and as for them learning the sounds of the house it wont take them long to recognise the plastic bag rustle with them thinking the contents are for them and wheeking until they get a treat.

Second night in now and they still seem terrified but they did munch on their veg when I was talking to them earlier. It's much cooler tonight too so should be nicer for them :)

They'll probably be a bit jumpy for a little while but you'll be amazed how well they adapt. My piggies are house pigs and don't bat an eyelid or run to hide even when I hoover right next to their cage! I love having them indoors, though of course I put them in the garden in their run whenever the weather's ok.
