I am going to make my guinea-pigs happier :) Sounds like a lot to do in one day :)) I can't give them the best housing in the world but I'm going to work with what I have to make them happier. I've decided to change from woodshavings (because it irritates Marmalade's feet) to fleece, I've even got some pretty pink fleece, and I'm going to make some beds and tunnels to match :red I've also decided to get them a bowl each, because at the moment they share a big bowl but Marmalade eats most of it. I am also going to get some little herb pots that they sell in supermarkets and grow some veggies for them. I'm also going to save up for a new hutch so that when the hutch the girls are in at the moment falls apart (I think it will fall apart soon) I can get a nice big hutch that is good for them. This is a bit of a pointless thread, I just wanted to list everything I want to do tomorrow for them so I don't forget anything and I'm also quite excited :))
 
Go you! That's a great thing to want to do and is definitely going to give you something to do (I assume you're on your holidays!) to fill up your time!

I want to start making some nice fleecy stuff to for my girls, especially for when I get my shed in a couple of months and can have a fleece area and a shavings/megazorb area for them!

Yay for making our pigs happier! :))
 
What veggies are you going to grow for them I love your idea so much that I am thinking if you don't mind I would quite like to give the veggie one a go as well.
 
I like your herb pot idea as well. Very practical! And definitely would save money in the long run!
 
awh lucky piggys they are, i'm growing herbs and they have just started to sprout so exciting and at the weekend i'm going to attack our garden and plant some veggie seeds for them think the OH thinks they are for us how little does he know he he he
