I've finally, after a year of contact with Suzy, made it down to Suzygpr's in Glynneath! I have been in touch with Suzy for about a year now, after joining the forum in Dec 2010, and have always wanted to visit and see the work that she does. Following my Peppa's death last month I decided that I would combine Barney's (Peppa's 'widower) date with a visit! Didn't take me as long as I thought it would to get there this morning and had a fab couple of hours with Suzy (even got to have a cuddle with one of the teddy babies) before leaving Barney for some man-love!
Got to see Courtney and Jackson leave for a new home. Two new pigs came in and I got to take 4 pigs to their new slaves (Wiebke being one!)

Thanks Suzy - I so admire all that you do. Hope my Barney is being a good lad and look forward to seeing you soon x
 
Aww that is so lovely to hear. I cannot wait to hear how Barney gets on. :)
 
yes - set off early this morning - like driving so that helps! Only got caught in one traffic jam for the whole day so that was lucky!
 
Ooooh! I have sometimes thought of driving to Suzy's from Liverpool. How long did it take you?

arr wish id have known, i would have come to keep you company! Would love to visit Suzy's place.
 
Oooh i'm soooo jealous! I REALLY want to go visit! I actually have a week off in March and if I don't go away then I might be asking you Suzy if I can come up! I'd really like to visit some of Wales too :))

WIEBKE?! YOU HAVE A NEW PIGGIE?! EEEEeeeeek! How can I not have one of the teddy babies now :)) spill the beans! :))
 
The pigs at Suzy's are all so chilled out! Even my Barney, who is more interested in dominating the world usually, was asleep and all chicken legged when I was getting ready to leave! Have a fave in mind, having looked at them all a million times...and just hope me and Barney agree on this!
 
You can say that I am trying to adopt my way around the forum rescues... Suzy's I have seen and would have loved to have more time there!

Yes, I have a new piggy; and no, it is not one of the teddies. (Don't forget that I already have some equally stunning teddies! xoxo) It is Hedydd's older sister, who has now come off her pregnancy watch and is currently busy hiding in her pigloo. I'm sticking to reinforcements from the Ginger Army and will introduce her in good time! :)

Better not count on Barney's taste... but you can keep your fingers crossed!

I would have liked Larissa very much, but unfortunately, she's not the kind of character that would enjoy Tribe life unless she can run her own again. There are sows for which my setting is just not the right one. The Tribe is for one reason only so successful because I have always acknowledged that fact. mallethead

PS: Heulwen is technically Hafina's replacement - although not looking like her at all and a completely different personality. I have all the piggies I want to cope with right now!
