Rosie to the vets tomrow :( shes scratching more and seems all sorrow for herself and today i noticed shes got a scab on her back :( poor baby wasnt very happy with me searvhing through her fur (she has alot of it lol) :(

when i rescued her at 3 weeks old she has a bad case of mites could this just break out again from no where?

I'm sorry she's feeling so itchy again. Mites can seem to come out of nowhere, although ensuring the hay is decent quality may help reduce the chances of particular mites affecting the pigs.

Have you got any Aloe Vera gel/ointment to hand? This can help soothe the itching in the worst spots.

Mite egg can lie dormant in the skin for months and break out again when a piggy is unter the weather or stressed.

Wishing poor Rosie the best of care and a quick relief.

i haven't had any problems with it since she was 3 weeks old and she's just turned 5 :(
