ive only had them 3 days and ive already had to separate them :o they had quite a nasty fight last night leaving my little Ginger Guinea Pig (Joey) with quite a few bald patches and chunks missing out his ear :o the black and white Guinea (Spike) seems to be in perfect condition. which means i may have to rehome the black and White Guinea if i cant make room in my flat for him. i know this fight started because they both wanted to be boss! do you think i could ever rebond them? or do you think they'll just fight again? Spikes also started making those hissy chattery noises whenever i go near him which i know is there way of saying 'Go away' :o

Can you separate them but only have a divider between them, that way they can still chat but not be agressive towards each other :)

Hopefully you'll get more advice real soon.

Keep us posted, all the best :) :) :) :)

they have dog crates in the petshop near me which comes with a divider would that be an ok? if it is that would be great because then i wouldnt really have to make much more room lol O0

dog crates cost quite alot and their bar spacing is too far apart (the one we're getting for the samoyed is a few cm)

when my boars were constantly mounting and rumblimg at eachother I took the domiant one out (london)
on the second day he was wheeking like crazy for hid brother & new room mate
they're all back in the same hutch now and the rumbling has dramaticly reduced
they've never faught though, so i'm not sure if it'll work for spike

at the moment i have them in seperate cages next to each other and their both squeaking to each other quite happily :smitten: probably going to keep it this way :D
