How to keep them entertained in Bad Weather!
When you've got your caravan/tent all set up for the holiday, all settled in on the first day when the weather's lovely ( because it always is on the first day!) Then typical English summer strikes and our piggies are stuck inside, sometimes for days if the ground dosent dry out. Floor times ok but the risk of getting trod on in the cramped space, especially with children in the caravan/tent that have too much energy built up that they need to get rid of too!
I know, I've just conjured up memories of chaos for you all, haven't I!

What we do is roll back some of the groundsheet in the awning and set up their outside run in the awning. This allows grass time without the problems of rain.

My tent has a sewn in groundsheet, but my extention doesn't, so in bad weather one section of run wall goes all around to dissuade those adventurous piggies that no, disappearing under the wall is not okay, and another section divides up the space for different groups to have floor time.
Because I camp with the rest of my family, there are plenty of other units to escape to, so my piggies have their own space in the tent anyway- there is no room for people!
Luckily though my holidays are in the height of summer and we've not really had endless days of rain. (Touch wood)
We also send the kids out in the rain- they won't shrink!
