Do people treat their piggies for mites routinely as a preventative? How often and do you use Ivermectin? If so, could you please let me know where you buy it and the correct dosage etc? Thanks.

There is an absolute wealth of information on guinealynx about Ivermectin http://www.guinealynx.info/ivermectin.html dosing amounts in particular are important to pay attention to as there are different versions of the product available.
I personally wouldn't treat routinely as it is possible for a guinea to have an adverse reaction. Have you seen anything that makes you think mites are present?
