I have seen my piggies scratching so to be on the safe side I bought some Beaphar anti-parasite spot on. Is it safe to use this even if they don't have mites so it prevents them?

The ivermectin dosis in beaphar is too low to combat an acute case of mites. It is designed for the prevention.
Please make sure that it isn't the drier indoors air from switching to heating that is causing the itchiness.

I use this for prevention every 3 months & mine have had no fleas or lice in 2 1/2 years. I also use Gorgeous Guineas Lice & Easy Shampoo, it gives their coats a shine too.

Hi Wiebke, The itching isn't bad. I'm sure I am being paranoid! I rarely have the heating on so have a feeling it isn't that x

I have only used Lice & Easy once so far and found it to be great. I'll see how it goes with the Beaphar then buy Xeno 450 after the course is done if need be x

Animed Direct do Xeno 450 at a good price with free delivery. I always get mine from them, hope that helps.

That's really helpful and a great price, thank you :))

Thanks for this info, they're £4 cheaper than Vet UK who I currently buy from. I'll have to check out their other prices.

Does anyone know the difference between Xeno 450 Spot On & Xeno 50 Mini Spot On. They both have the same description & similar prices but you get 6 pipettes with the 1st & 9 with the second. See:- http://www.animeddirect.co.uk/search/all/Xeno 450/relevance
