Ivermectin

I have seen ivormectin in other forms than the spot on, not a good price for the bottle - 10ml = 5 treatments and the current spot ons cost me £5/box and I use two boxes for 4 treatments (two pippets per piggie), think I would rather use the belphar stuff

When we take our piggies for a health check, nail trims etc every 3 months this is given to them to prevent mites.

It's just with this warm spell we're having atm, just want to be safe rather than sorry and have something handy - hay is a new one and I get really paranoid as it is a farm bale :...

I use Easimec and have done so for a few years now - I would highly recommend it. The one product I would advise against using is a Beaphar one - there have been several reports of pigs having bad reactions to the solution used and the ivermectin used is so dilute that it is pretty ineffectual.

The dosage is 250g-500g=1 drop; 500g-1000=2 drops; 1000g-1500g=3 drops, applied to the back of the neck.
