how long is it between the 2nd and 3rd injection? is it another 10 days?

That's the average. Each dose can be anything from 7-14 days apart, ten being the usual.

You can get insecticidal shampoo as well (pyrethum extract) :) Just bought the Johnson's one, and shall be bathing my girls tomo (they've no idea whats coming LOL!).. and as a spray for hutch/cage (permerthin, s-methprene, tetramethrin)x

Weve got lice and easy to treat them with along with injections. The poor things think they are all sorted now...little do they know they have two more baths and 1 more injection!:{
 
I think you can use the child safe lice lotion on them too? I've used it in the past when Crackers came with unwanted house guests :)
 
Were not as subtle, we've been calling them the crawly kids!:))
 
I think, unlike mites, one should be enough to kill all the lice, they're not the same kind as what children get, yet the same lotion will kill the lice that you use on their head, as it suffocates them :)
