Hi guys, today I bought a cage for my guinea pig Jackson and my father’s guinea pig Michael (brown piggy) a new cage with double floor space than the last cage that Jackson was kept in. This purchase was inspired by another member on here who told me that the other cage was too small. Anyway I have not been able to return here and the reason for that is I’ve been busy trying to get my TAFE course in cert II animal studies and I have recently bought an Epiphone SG electric guitar as well as a Marshall amp and IXL instrument cable to upgrade from the acoustic guitar as per my guitar instructor’s belief that I was ready to upgrade and start learning chords.

So how big is their new cage? If they are two boys they need at least 150cm x 60cm, 180cm x 60cm is better

If their new cage is the one you’ve put in the pictures then with boars, I would recommend you add in two of everything - two hay piles, two bottles, bowls and hides. if just minimises the risks of the dominant piggy hogging anything and causing problems within their relationship

hard to tell from the photo but it looks rather small.. Is that Hay in the hay rack? it looks a bit like straw - correct me if i am wrong - again hard to tell from the photos..

The hay in the rack is Oaten and the hay which is being used as bedding is Pasture.
I see, thats the most common one in Australia.. I would definitely get 2 of everything as suggested, cardboard boxes are good to use as a hidey..

My 13 year old son plays guitar and he got an electric one for his birthday earlier this year..
