I've woken to notice he had a headtilt so I got him out and he had hay sticking out his eye - I managed to get it out and the eye is weeping, has clouded over and his lower lid is drooping. Needs to try and get him to the vets :/ Hes currently on my bed munching his breakfast which is good.

Poor Jake, there has been lots of eye injuries lately. Can only say what we did and get him to vets today to minimise risk of infection. We were given drops and baytril. Hope all goes well, let us know how jakey gets on x

have you tried bathing it in salt water just to help it? when bill had an eye injury the vet suggested this rather than meds and bills eye is all better now

Thanks everyone :) Ive come home and his head tilt seems to have subsided and his eye is looking a lot better - still a little cloudy but his lower lid is looking more normal.

Ive put him back with Lentil as Lentil was wondering where he'd been all day.

Poor Jake! Hopefully, his eye will heal soon; my Taffy's eye poke did within 7-10 days.
