Milo is really vocal, i got jake out and was giving him a cuddle and his noises sound like he is blocked up?? any ideas, could this be a breathing problem?
It could be an upper respiratiry infection which is usually cleared up with antibiotics. Does he sound like he is having difficulty breathing through his nose or is it squeaking? He may also sneeze a few times and possibly cough. Is the mucus coming from the nose green? If it is then it is an infection. If it is brown it might have been some dust.
his fine breathin its when i get him out milo squeeks loads but when jake goes to his is very weird like his blocked up. theres no infection or anyhing comin out his nose
It could just be that Jake is quieter than Milo. My guinea Ginger doesn't squeak when I get her out but when I start cuddling and fussing her she talks and chatters but quietly
hoping jake is feeling alright, wish my girls would talk and chatter to me. all they do is squeak wanting to go back into their cage :tickedoff: :tickedoff: :tickedoff: i would suggest just keeping an eye on him but if concerned take him to the vet even if it is just to ease your mind. sending hugs and good vibes :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:
