Hi

Jasmine had another steriod injection today. We saw a different vet this time but I actually prefer this one as he loves guinea pigs as much as I do. Anyway, Jasmine was very brave and didn't squeak at all. The vet checked her over and said she has actually put on weight (they weigh her at each visit) but he can't comment on the lumps as he hasn't felt them before. We are booked in with him for the next injection so he should be able to give me an update on the lumps then.

So Jasmine is back in her cage, nibbling hay and waiting for her veggies.

Thanks for the update, Jasmine is a very brave piggie and good girl for putting on some weight. Lots of love to her.

Thanks for all your good wishes, Jasmine really appreciates them. I have been feeding her lots of green veggies and herbal hay and she has also developed a taste for nibble sticks. I know she isn't going to get better but at least she is happy for now. I don't like feeling her lumps but I don't think the main ones are any bigger than before, hopefully the new vet can give me his opinion in two weeks time. Right now Jasmine is all stretched out on some super soft clean hay having a nap before veggie time.
