2 weeks after diagnosis:
Jasmine had her second steroid injection today. Her lumps are no smaller but they are no larger and there are no new ones. She is still as fat as ever, eating, drinking, running around and generally looking good. The vet is pleased with her and suggests we carry on with the injections every two weeks for as long as they work. He is still hopeful the lumps will get smaller, possibly after this injection, but if not he says he is happy they are no larger. He confirmed that the lumps are not painful and not bothering her.

Thanks. I am hoping the steroids keep her stable for as long as possible. Other than the horrible lumps she is totally normal. She has just eaten her way through a pile of meadow herbs and is about to get her cucumber and greens. She is such a gorgeous girl I so want to do the best for her.

It sounds like she is doing well. Thank goodness she is not in any pain.

I was worried she might be in pain but the vet assured me that she isn't. I just cleaned her out so at the moment she is stretched out fast asleep on fresh clean hay.
