Hi i think there is something wrong with jasmines skin and i am not sure what this could be i cant seem to have a look down to the skin as she yelps in pain when i try to. i only noticed it was sore when i picked her up and it rumpled her fur a little bit then she yelled out in a high pitch squeek i presume that is a pain noise. she also makes a grunting noise when she preens herself not sure if thats normal either. help please.:0

It could be mites and/or a fungal problem. It is usually better to treat for both conditions as it can sometimes be difficult to differentiate between them.
Mites; Ivomec 2 drops by mouth.
Fungal; Shampoo with Nizoral, human shampoo, at least twice, about 5 days apart.

There are variations on a theme for both conditions which others will undoubtedly tell you about, my typing is too slow! There are already threads on skin problems if you go down the list.

Some of my pigs really, really hate having their hair separated and brushed the wrong way and will squeal at me and put up a fight, but fungal and parasitic problems have been ruled out for these pigs.

I think treating for mites would be a good first step - a topical application can be easiest to use for many; Xeno 450 contains Ivermectin and is used for pigs weighing over 800g (might be 700g).
