Hi All,

Well we took Jasper and Choccy to Worcester this morning. Trudy has taken Jasper and Julie and Marty have taken Choccy. It was lovely to meet up with them even if it was in a layby! :D

We took some pics of Choccy and Jasper this morning so will post up. I was sad to see them go especially Jasper who I felt I had helped him come out of his shell and we had bonded but putting him first he needs a friend and him staying with me wasn't possible because I'm hoping to rebond Sunshine and Twinkle first. But I know he is going to a fab home and the same with Choccy, he was a great character and I'll miss his crazy popcorning into his hay rack and his escaping from the basket! 98)

Well onwards we go and I'm collecting a Sow tomorrow and hopefully getting 3 boars in the week from Helen! :D

So glad they've gone to lovely homes, well done for having them and good on you for letting them go - you can't keep them all, but oh they tug at the heartstrings don't they!

Good luck in your new homes boys!

Yep can't wait to see them. I think Trudy is bonding Jasper and Bradders already she rung me when I was driving but Peter had to take the call so looking forward to updates.

They do tug on the heartstrings but it's so satisfying knowing they are going to be well loved and cared for.

awww well done Louise! Just be satisfied knowing you've helped get them to really good loving homes :smitten: :smitten:
More piggies! :D ;D bet you can't wait! Are they for you to keep or are you just fostering? :D
Can't wait to see pics of the newbies :smitten: i don't know weather i could let them go! ::) :smitten:

Just fostering Izzy. Well unless they don't find a home of course. But they are lovely and I can't see them not finding a home soon. :)

i am so with you izzy, would be no good for me to be a foster mum as i think it would kill me to see them go. :'( :'( :'( think louise is a much stronger person than me. :-* :-* :-* sounds like she does a wonderful job and makes so many piggies happy. :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: well done louise and hoping choccy and jasper settle into their new homes and have long happy lives. :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:

Thanks Mary. Oh no I'm not strong but maybe I'm stronger than I think. I just think of the bigger piccie there are more needing help thats what keeps me going otherwise I'd just keep them all! I've 8 of my own anyway and it's fab because these new pigs coming here I'll never forget them, they are in my extended piggy family now! :smitten:

awwwww :smitten: :smitten: thats a good attitude, maybe i'd surprise myself? ;D well there aren't any rescues near me anyway so i don't need to decide that! ;D you're such a great person louise, be proud! :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:

Thanks Izzy, really nice of you to say so. ;D

I've just enquired about a free boar in Warrington. Ex Breeding stock, only posted yesterday so fingers crossed he is still available. Poor thing. :smitten:

i have put some piccies up for every1 to see not of jasper and bradders but jasper and marble. xx

Hi all

Choccy is now settled in to his new home after a long journey back from Worcester.

We've taken a few pictures but haven't had time to download them from the camera yet as we've had to clear out our other 4 boys' housing, set Choccy's cage up, feed all five of the piggies, sort out Oscar's medication and get something to eat ourselves so I'll sort out some piccies tomorrow, we're rather tired after 7 hours on the road today.

Thank you Lousie for meeting up with us and letting us give him his forever home, it was very nice to meet you and your family, we'll send contact details tomorrow.

Marty :)

Hi Marty,

Glad Choccy is ok and you got back to Kent safely.

You've had a busy night! It's funny how driving just knackers you! Peter doesn't drive so I have to do it all, but it's fun and we had a fun trip although on the way back Emily was saying are we home yet every 5 seconds and wanting to look at the map!

It was great to meet you and Julie too. It isn't half quiet in the pig room now without Choccy and his crazy popcorning! :)

Give him a kiss from me, looking forward to seeing the pics when you have time.

Louise
