One of my girls, Nutmeg is smaller than the others and she always stands still and lets me cuddle her, whereas with the others I have to catch as apposed to just picking up. She gets more cuddles because of this.
The girls are now being horrible to her. They push her out, they chase her away from food and I was just wondering if this new aggression was due to my favoritism toward her.

Hi! How long have you had your piggies, how old are they and how many have you got in that group?

Without more background information I can unfortunately not comment.

I got them last August and September.
They are 10 and 11 months old.
There are 4

I would consider bullying by the group - and your closer bond not the cause but a reaction to what is going on in the group.

Please try a trial separation and see whether your little girl is suddenly perking up when away from the others. More information in the guides below on what could be going on. Groups dynamics can take a turn to the bad unfortunately and not rarely in sow groups. The problem generally goes more unnoticed because it rarely ends in full-on fights like with boars.
I am currently dealing with a single sow from a quartet that has been emphatically declared unwelcome in the group and am trying to find her a new companion; she is by far not the first sow with that has been dumped by a group or companion.

Please take the time to read the links so you understand better of what could be going on!

Bullying and dumping group members is not all that rare but because it usually doesn't result in full-on fights, it generally doesn't get the press.

I've certainly have and have had my fair share of this. Just dealing with trying to find a new companion for sow with issues that has been recently declared no longer welcome by her sister's group which she joined after the death of her companion (who had chucked out said sister from HER group)... :(
