So I've had my 3 baby does for about 3 months now, they're about 5months old. And they've been perfectly fine dietary wise and health wise or so I think. They eat normal they're all active the poops are normal nothing seems out of ordinary other than my youngest, Daisy, she doesn't seem to really wanna use her back legs to walk around. Thus morning I cleaned their cage out and when I out them back in she was laying down eating her food and then I watched her drag herself across the cage kinda like how in the movies the military people crawl through mud type thing. And when she popcorned she was laying down like popping but on her side and back. But she would walk when she wanted to I guess. But I'm concerned if that's normal or if maybe shes in pain?

Is she walking okay now? This is an important question. If she can't she needs to see a vet ASAP

the popcorning could have just been a popcorn sometime young piggies popcorn so wild they do flop over.

Well the thing is she walks, but sometimes she just drags herself around, and she gets happy from doing it? Because after she drags around she popcorns

One of my girls use to occasionally drag herself round using only her front paws. It was usually when she was lying down, almost like she couldn't be bothered getting up. She was fine running round as normal the rest of the time.

That is a bit strange. If it was my piggy I'd have her checked by a vet just to make sure. Can you video what she's doing on your phone or a camera so you can show the vet how she gets around? Cos she probably won't do it at the vets!

I will try to capture it on video because she doesn't do it all the time, she uses her feet when she wants to. Like this morning when I went to grab the food she was runnikng around excited in circles, I have t really seen her do it since yesterday but I'm gonna get her to a vet anyway

Erm.... is she rumbling while doing this? Or wiggling her bum?

No she just crawls around it looks like a wiggling motion, but she' quiet when she does it and it looked playful because she'd do flips and roll

It could be bum dragging and rumblestruting which is normal guinea pig dominance behaviour and can happen when girl piggies are in season

Could really do with a video of it. Does she live with another piggy?

Yes, she has 2 other sows that live with her, they do have dominance breakouts every so often, and I haven't seen her do it since yesterday so I haven' been able to get a video but I'm trying to keep an eye on her as much as possible and try to get a video if I see it again
