I know you said it will probs be after 5 until there is any news, but is there any yet? I wont be on after 5 tonight as i am christmas shopping and i've been thinking about little Jerry all day.

xx

Debbie, i have not been on the forum for a while and am very sad to read about jerry, and the loss of Bownlow too. nursing sick animals can so easily lead to an emotional attatchment that can make it very hard to sometimes know what to do for the best but the sactuary's ethos is sound and you have discussed things with simon so by giving jerry this one last chance, whatever the outcome, you will know you have done all you can. i could not keep putting myself through what you do. respect x

Aww hope everything goes ok! my piggies all cross there paws for Jerry! x

Oh no :( I am so very sorry Debbie.

Please remember that you did everything you could for Jerry. The time he spent with you was his greatest and at least you gave him a chance.

Sleep peacefully Jerry x

I am so sorry to hear this and so sorry for your loss. At least you gave him a fighting chance.
R.I.P Jerry have fun at rainbow bridge xxxxxx

Our exact sentiments Claire....

Run free little one ... x

So sorry to read this, Debbie. His time had come and he wasn't meant to fight any longer. He passed away peacefully, without any pain. At least you will know in your head and your heart that you tried, and did absolutely everything possible for him. He'll know this, and will now be able to munch on all those tasty veggies at the bridge free from any discomfort.

Rest peacefully, little Jerry xx

I'm very sorry Jerry has passed over the bridge, Debbie. Don't let yourself forget the time that he spent with you and that you did your absolute best to ensure that he had the best life he could have.
RIP Jerry. x

More or less what I was thinking, at least you gave him the option of one last chance. RIP Jerry, plenty of friends are waiting for you.

Just seen your update Debbie, I am so sorry little Jerry didn't make it - my thoughts are with you at this sad time, but no-one could have done more for little Jerry. Massive hugs xx

I'm very sorry that Jerry didn't wake up :( you did all you could for him but he obviously felt it was time x

Oh Debbie. I'm so sorry. How old was he? Please give Ben a hug from me.

Run free little Jerry. At peace and pain free.

oh i cant believe it, I'm so very sorry.

What a lucky fella he was though with the chances you gave him and all the love you gave him, . Thank you so much for giving him a life.

Rip Jerry, we wont forget you, sleep well sweetheart xx

Have phoned Jerry's previous owner to let her know the very sad news. Although she had to give Ben and Jerry up, to enable Jerry to get the treatment he needed, she has always kept in touch and helped fund treatments for Jerry and has visited them here too. We will keep in touch and they will come and see Ben at some point between Christmas and New Year.

I've just collected Ben from the vets. Simon put Jerry back in with him after he had passed so he was able to say goodbye. Simon was saying how much they are all going to miss Jerry. A very sad day!

Debbie, I'm so sorry to read this. You went that extra mile for little Jerry (as indeed you do with all the special piggies in your care). It was his time, but at least you gave him every chance.

RIP sweet little boy - please go and find Archie and popcorn together.

And huge hugs for you Debbie - you do such a wonderful job, and this must tear at your heartstrings.
