Is not been a very good week in the piggy shed. :'( Sadly yesterday Jerry passed away. I knew he was slipping away Wednesday night, so made him comfortable in some cosy vet bed and blankets and kept checking on him. He slipped away quietly and still in the same position I had placed him in the nest of bedding.
No death is ever easy but I am comforted by the fact that he was with his lady friend, warm and cosy when he decided to let go.
Again he was a very old piggie and had been with me for many years. I have no idea how old he was as he was a rescue piggie originally and came from a lovely lady in Warks who is mainly a bunny rescue.
Goodnight my sweet natured and gentle Jerry, you are greatly missed by myself and your old lady-pig. :'( Run free with the other piggies.
