Unfortunately Jerry had a visit to the vet this morning after I noticed an eye injury last night. There is no damage to the eye itself only the fleshy part around the eye. There was no blood drawn. The vet suggests it's a scratch from Vinnie and that they most likely will need to be separated at some point. I'm totally disheartened. I felt they were ok together, not totally brilliant as Vinnie is strutting and chatting at times, but worth waiting to see past their hormones stage.
What do you guys think? I think I should wait

It may have been an accidental scratch and may not even have been from Vinnie. Have you witnessed and fighting with them beyond the usual mount and chase?

No not at all - just the usual chinning, strutting and chatting expected. I have them in the livingroom with just piles of hay and veggies so I can watch them this afternoon. Vinnie has strutted and chatted already lol what a menace he is!

Originally you said that they got on. Do they cuddle up at all? Eat from the same bowl? Sleep next to each other?

I would wait, too. It sounds like a misjudged swipe, and not a serious bite. You will usually notice the tense air if a really bad confrontation has happened and both boars are in shock and very riled up. If they are still comparatively relaxed with each other, then it was just a minor tussle and not a fight. I get that from my sows, too, when they lash our with their hind legs.

They do cuddle up if I have them out on my bed. When I check in on them in the cage they tend to be in separate hiddies. They do eat from the same bowl or hay pile but it depends on how Vinnie feels whether it's peaceful or not.

Ahhh well I have noticed Vinnie kicked out at floor time this week, first time I've seen him do that. Maybe Jerry got too close or something

Make sure that both hideys have two exits. Boys are boys, especially during the teenage months!

I'm going to keep the furniture out for a while. Just put in two arches and hay mounds - see how they get on. They've been pretty peaceful for the past hr or so with just hay mounds. Just a few chins. Tried to upload some videos but can't
