Senior Guinea Pig
Jess was on Baytril for 10 days for her bleeding down below. She had a bit of a dodgy tummy, slightly soft poos and we had pro-c and poo soup, seemed to work fine. Finished last Saturday and no issues with her bleeding, but Friday she started having sloppy poos along with wet formed ones.
Think a mixture of her baytril and the possible gorge on cherry tomatoes the day before
Chopped four small ones between three pigs but I’ve got a feeling she might have eaten too many as Aliona changed her mind about them all of a sudden and Jess loves them!
She’s had poo soup the last two days, formed more today (but just found a nice cow pat when she got out of her comfy bed!) but with her being 7 on the 27th and very small at 760g now I’m worrying a little. She’s not having veg obviously, lots of hay. Is there anything else I can try?
Don’t want her to lose lots more weight as she’s teeny and obviously an oldie! Can she have oats etc? Would it help or just cause more issues!?
Thanks for reading and any ideas!
