Jess was on Baytril for 10 days for her bleeding down below. She had a bit of a dodgy tummy, slightly soft poos and we had pro-c and poo soup, seemed to work fine. Finished last Saturday and no issues with her bleeding, but Friday she started having sloppy poos along with wet formed ones.
Think a mixture of her baytril and the possible gorge on cherry tomatoes the day before :doh:Chopped four small ones between three pigs but I’ve got a feeling she might have eaten too many as Aliona changed her mind about them all of a sudden and Jess loves them!
She’s had poo soup the last two days, formed more today (but just found a nice cow pat when she got out of her comfy bed!) but with her being 7 on the 27th and very small at 760g now I’m worrying a little. She’s not having veg obviously, lots of hay. Is there anything else I can try?
Don’t want her to lose lots more weight as she’s teeny and obviously an oldie! Can she have oats etc? Would it help or just cause more issues!?
Thanks for reading and any ideas! :) This girly:roll: Taken over from Pedro to cause me trouble!

Just to say, it’s not diarrhoea, just sloppy poos so no vet trip trip needed right now and she’s eating lots of hay. Just more her age and weight that are worrying me!

Thanks @piggieminder. She’s just trouble this one! Happily munching hay atm but the racket from the three of them when she starts because she’s deprived is rather deafening whenever I move! :)) She’s good at starting an angry piggy movement! x

Can you give Jess a cuddle or some oats while Luigi and Aliona eat their veggies. You can also get oat bran from Sainsbury’s which is really fine oats, looks like semolina which I think would be good for syringe feeding (not that she needs it)

Oh, honey. They certainly do know how to keep us on our toes, these little cutiepies.

I feel like I'm on constant poop watch since having a poorly piggy, it's an unhealthy obsession. 😅
I don't have any advice to offer as it sounds like you're doing an incredible job for your girly, so I can only offer support and encouragement. 🥰

Thanks for all your replies :D xx
Oats will be absolutely fine!
Brilliant, good to know! All three having their supper of them now :) Posh extra large ones from co op at the moment the spoilt piggles!

Ooh might have to get some of that in @Bill & Ted, just in case, for my little madam, sure she’d enjoy that for one of her special evening meals even if I don’t have to syringe it!

She loves her readigrass but we’re down to dust atm so need to order some, not had issues in the past with it but I’ll go easy with it when it arrives, thanks @Posyrose :)
This is the first time she’s been this bad with her poo so will be going very slow introducing veg back with her, Rupert started with his bloat in his older years after a tummy incident like this so would like to avoid any with her!

Thanks so much for your help everyone, fingers crossed her teeny tummy will settle soon. Washed 100 piggy poo-covered feet the last couple of days! Poor poopy piggies! xx

She’s very happy as an extra portion (and teeny sprinkle of last of the readigrass) for her while the others eat that rubbish veg stuff! :))
And mummy’s let her have her favourite bed, Pedro’s, that I still sleep with as I’m a soppy beast! Blooming loves it bless her!
(Baby wipes next to me in case of a sudden messy mishap!)

Thanks @Claire W, knew she wasn’t right being so quiet and thought it was because of the lady hormone drama again! Then got her out of her comfy bed and found the mess underneath bless her! xx

Jess is acting much better, really active yest and today and poo’s looking far better! No cow pats and firmed up, yay!
So I’ve just risked a little bit of grass, hopefully won’t cause any issues🤞! Very much enjoyed and out having a play now, so much happier than she has been :D:love:
