I was browsing Pets at Home on Thursday and was drawn to a very sad looking piggy in the adoption centre. 18 months, not wanted by his owner anymore, brown and blondey messy hair- very cute and looked very sad that his owner had left him :0

After looking at him again yesterday, I couldn't help but get up early to buy the little fella and he's settling in well. Very loving and gentle.

Will do some pics later.

That will be one happy piggy then! :))

Would you consider boar dating him at a rescue to find him a companion that is character compatible for a stable relationship? Piggies are not meant to live alone, but bonding boars properly takes time and experience, so it is worth going the extra mile to have it done at a place where you only come back home with another piggy if things work out and you are not running the risk of ending up with two single boars. Pet shops can't and won't bond boars, and so many are sold (via the adoption centre) into a single life and their owners usually told that they won't go with another piggy!

What a sad start to life........ poor little guy :(
