I'm going to order some flaked peas me thinks. I was going to order 2 packets - how big are the packets? (I know its 1kg, but is that a lot?!) But then 2 packets bumps the P&P up to £4.95 so I could actually get other stuff as well for the same P&P.

Who delivers if it is over 2kg? I know the site says up to 2kg is sent via Royal Mail.

If the packet is big, I might just order 1 to try and then some other stuff to make use of the P&P at £3.95 (up to 2kg) - any recommendations? I was looking at the Burgess Excel Nature Snacks Berry Bites.

Website I am looking at is Only Natural Pet Supplies

Haha! I can agree Joanne is a bad influence! :))

Ive tried lots of hays thanks to Joanne and she tells me off if i dont give it to my boys right away. :)

If you think of a 2.5kg bag of wagg guinea pig crunch or excel nuggets thats nearly as much 2kg of flaked peas would be, minus half a kilo. So i would say that is alot, but if you have 6 piggys it maybe best to get 2 kgs? But like you said you could save on postage if you get other stuff to if the p&p is standard £4.95.

Joanne did post a picture of her box that contained 3kg of flaked peas and mixed herbs, here is the link:

Lisa also ordered flaked peas, but i dont know how much. :)

I bought a kilo of flaked peas from a pet food shop that sells it loose. It was only 85p. I split it into 2 one litre ice cream tubs if that gives you an idea of quantity. :)

hmmm I think i want to buy some :)) I do have about 3 pet shop's left in the town centre that do loose stuff so may have a look and see if they have any :)

I ended up with a £50 order!!Got the piggies some good quality hay and other bits and bobs. I hope Joanne is getting comission for these orders.

I got a kilo of flaked peas and wish I had bought 2 kilos as with 10 they don't last. It's worth getting 2 kilos as they will probably last a while.

That shop also sells Oxbow hay Kimberley (hint hint). Orchard Grass or Timothy is bound to go down a storm.........

OH and don't know if yours will be the same but mine wont touch the berry bites. I have an almost full bag here.

I just went with the peas in the end, 3kg of them to make the P&P a little more worth it! Joanne was disappointed that I didn't get any Oxbow ")

hmmm. I dont think My piggys have ever had flaked peas, id hate to order some and they hated them. Lol x Knowing my luck, they probably wouldnt touch them.

Kimberley I can't believe you didn't get any Oxbow!

That's a crime considering you were on the site anyway!

I know! ") Terrible!

It just seems so expensive? The bags are only 454g? If I'm looking at the right thing.... That's not their main hay surely? I'll be bankrupt in no time :0

Bulk buying is the way to go esp as you have 6 guineas.

Perhaps I need sample packs. I would hate to bulk buy and then them turn their nose up! Can you buy samples?

Wish i could buy something like this!
Trouble is if i do order, i have to pay lot more for P&P and then if my little darlings decide they don't like it........ :{
I get my oxbow pellets and hay (they're not really in love with it rolleyes) from my vets :)

That's what I was thinking! You can select Royal Mail P&P on The Hay Experts and it was only £1.35 so thats why I went with them. But to Oz..... You might be waiting a good few years for it to turn up at that postage! :(|)
