Poor old Toffee is stiff in her joints what with being so elderly and all, she has daily Metacam (1.5 mg/ml at 0.5ml a day) but is there anything else we can do to help?

She is on fleece with a memory foam pad under her log roll, her food, water and toys are all accessible and her hay is in a shallow tray. She has access to her snugglesafe to help with some warmth but tends to just use it as a pillow 🤷‍♀️

We have oxbow joint support tabs but she doesn't like them 😣 According to fuzzieskingdom.com an "organic blend of hawthorn, cleavers, nettle, cat's claw, dandelion leaf and root, horsetail, rose hips, flaxseed" could help? We have cleavers, dandelion and probably nettle in the garden.

Any ideas much appreciated!

Could you crush up the tabs and put them on piggies favourite veg? Or crush pix with water in a syringe and whilst piggies eating, pop it in?

Could you crush and soak the tablets in some water and then syringe? You can additionally give the herbal forage if you wish to.

That's a good idea! The tabs are quite bit so I might have to split it into a few syringes throughout the day hehe! She's very good at taking syringe stuff bless her xx

I had 2 elderly piggies on oxbow tabs. One loved them and just munched on them. The other one we had to syringe feed them and then offer a treat.
Hope you find a solution that works for you.xx

I have crushed these tablets before and tried to feed. They just wont mush into a good paste. They just flake up into the water. I had succcess with mixing critical with them too or mushed up nuggets
