Hi there when i get my guinea pigs out i put there lil igloo into a carboard box then take them indside and hold them but some times there lil paws or hands haha i dont no what they are called go all the way up to the box like there going to jump and when i take them backoutside to put them in there cage they start pouncing/jumping why is this. Dale one of my guinea pigs did once jump i got sooo scared but i did catch him he didnt go far :)) anyway there always seem to pounce alot and I'm scared if they keep doing this i will be left with no guinea pigs :( and I'm not hat fast so i wont be able to catch them .
But now i get to boxes and when I'm holding on i put it into the the igloo then put the igloo into the box but i feel mean when i do that like I'm forcing him to go in and then i just pick the other guinea pig up and put him in the box and then him goes into the igloo. But i dont no what to do am i doing the right thing or not

I guess they like being back in their place! You can try and put a tea towel over the top of the box to kep them from climbing. Or find a higher box (can be parcel from the post office?).

yes you need to be careful as if they fall a long way they could hurt themselves. Try carrying them in a bigger box and then picking them out of the box wrapped in a towel and lower them back into the hutch.
