also
its super cold where I live and even with a vent relatively close to her cage she is cold in the mornings and sometimes during the day. It gets SUPER cold her... any advice?

:agr: fab advice above, in addition you could buy a space heater. They help alot. ;) Also if your piggy's cage is on the floor you could set her up on a table, it would eliminate the floor draft.
 
Great advice given above! If you have fleece a good snuggle sack is always a good warm up, as Cissy will now demonstrate. She was cold after her surgery and that really helped, especially if you put a snuggle safe underneath :)

Also cuddles, I can give her cuddles to warm your little lady up :D
 
Mine are outside piggies and they have hay, hay and more hay, snugglesafes, snuggle sacks, lots of fluffy and furry stuff to keep them warm. A snuggle cover, a hutch hugger and a blanket on the hutch. Don't forget there are 5 of them and they keep themselves warm huddled up together too.

I will reiterate though that a friend certainly helps keep the other piggy cosy
