Just a quick question...

Today I noticed my guys not getting along while trying to eat from the hay rack so i put a hand full of timothy hay on the floor of their cage. Is it ok to do this instead of using the hay rack they seem to get along better while eating if i do this.

Yes. It's also easier for them to eat because it's at their level. Is the hay rack too high for them?

Yes it’s fine to not use a hayrack. The only slight issue is that Timothy can be sharp and if being loose on the floor it does run a bit of a risk of haypoke if they try to run through it.
With Male piggies, you really do need to have two of every item - two food bowls, two hay racks, two water bottles, two beds and a very large space so that they don’t have any reason to argue.

Yes, I would scatter the hay, then everypig can forage and no one can hog the hay rack. makes life more interesting too for them x
I put all the hay in a big pile at one end of the cage
