Hello.
I'm new on here. I'm not a guineapig owner, I just like what your doing here giving animals a new chance but I'd just like to ask something?
Is there anything as a group of animal lovers we could be doing thats even bigger to make a change in the lives of domesticated animals, to stop so many ending up without homes or the care they deserve? How about we start a petition to bring in a ban on breeding animals for profit (to include animals being sold in pet shops)? This would mean only breeders would be a source, and they would have to clear a license and that would be brilliant (and create more jobs in the animal sector, licensing regulators). What do you think?

Sadly, I would have to agree. It would probably be a nightmare to police and enforce. But in an ideal world..

I personally love going into petstores with animals :[ If they are well cared for and come from reputable breeders.

I feel the petstore should have the proper living conditions and know about the specific animal.
