and mac and rascal sat straight up when i was listening to wheeking and started to wheek back at me :) love it i want to get a guinea pig noises cd to listen to :)

You should come to my place - it's only quiet when they are all asleep! mallethead

Taffy and Llewelyn were very attentive to the sound bites - ESPECIALLY the food call! rolleyes

my lot have decided to just hide! they would not chat back boo!

Mine loved listening to the food-wheeks too :)

I don't know if Bo likes being held or if he's telling me to put him back... The teeth chatter they do when they are angry, is it really loud? He makes a chattering noise he never makes except for when he's being held and I can't quite interpret it. And if he's mad with me can I still hold him some to get him more used to me?

With his chattering Bo tells you to keep your distance; heobviously doesn't like being held. Perhaps you can work you way around it with encouragement and little treats?

Yeah, he gets cucumber when I hold him, but he eats really fast! And when it's all finished he starts chattering again (but it's not loud). Do I always have to feed him or will he learn to like being cuddled without the cucumber?

You can give him the slowly cucumber in tiny bits, while he is sitting on your lap. Touch him only "by accident", but talk to him a lot. With patience, you can get him to let you touch you and cuddle you.

It took me months with my Minx, but when I broke the barrier, it didn't matter if I gave her a pet in the middle of her running free in the garden!

If something doesn't work, go back a step and give it a fresh start - persistence is the key!
