the other half at 6.25am ... He is stood there and says " I've got someone to see you " and plonks Gladys on me! She snuggled into me and nearly fell asleep... He is a big softie

OH is "other half" - I don't think we have abbreviations for anything elseOk, in America, DH stands for "Darling Husband".
In Britain, OH?
Care to fill me in?
Sorry lol... I say OH As we are not marriedOk, in America, DH stands for "Darling Husband".
In Britain, OH?
Care to fill me in?
In Britain we don't refer to our other halfs as darling, unless we r stating it in a sarcastic manner because they've done something wrong
For example. "Oh darling! You've forgotten to take the bins out, AGAIN"
Or
"I love that you leave your dirty clothes in a pile right next to the washing basket darling"
This is usually followed by a scathing look.
