I've just bonded my group of 4 females and 1 male with my group of 1 male and 1 female so I now have 2 males and 5 females all living together! And it was surprisingly easy, I simply put them all into a carry case and out into a new run on the grass and watched them on and off throughout the day and there was no fights so I then cleaned the shed , filled it with hay and grass and put them all in and again I watched them for as long as possible and with the exception of one little squabble they got on like a house on fire! I'm soo pleased

Here's what the shed looked like when I first put them in and what it looked like the morning after! All 7 pigs can be seem in both photos

Glad that all is going well. I hope that your two boys will still get on when the sows are coming into season.

I'm really upset as I've had to separate them out again, yesterday I found Dougal had a couple bite marks down his back so I have been keeping a very close eye on them and hoping for the best but this morning I witnessed a fight between him and the older boar Biscuit :( So now I've separated Dougal and his friend Elsa back out again ehich is such a shame as now they don't have half as much space and have to be put in their run instead of having it attached to their house

I really have no idea why they started fighting as they have been living together happily for about a week now with no signs of fighting at all and I have been checking each of them daily for any signs of fighting and haven't found anything until yesterday :(

One of the sows probably came into season is the probable issue. Often two boars dont cope well together in a group. Its much better to have one boar per group. Sorry its not really worked out. Have you considered having two groups poss side by side with a divide in? I have a sow/boar pair next to my herd with a boar and never had any problems this way. Always depends on the piggies tho.
