So i put Bounty out in my triangular run and Loki out in the other run and a couple hours I come back later and Bounty has chewed out of the run, ran to Lokis run and got his head wedged through the openings. Poor thing was crying, don't know hoe long he'd been there

I ran for help and my OHs cousin ran to get wire cutters, I was holding him to stop him thrashing about, just as he came back with the cutters I managed to get hos head out.

He must of been in shock as he likes to bite and didn't bite me at all

I brought him in to warm him up and calm him down, he's now back outside eating carrot.

I've never had a pig chew through a rum before, he could of ran off :o

Oh gosh! What a shock! Poor lad must have had quite a fright too. I hope he's ok now.

Goodness, I've never known a guinea pig to chew through the run! I did find Glinda had got herself wedged between the run and their wooden house the other day, she was quite upset but she has recovered from her ordeal, so I'm sure you're piggy will be fine :)

Oh poor little mite, I wonder if he got spooked that caused him to do that.

Its just as well he's now safe and happy again.

It can happen for no obvious reason they can spook. Happened to me one night, girls were ok, next, a right racket and they were all petrified, scared stiff, I ended up taking them all out of the cage, completely cleaning the cage, fresh bedding and cleaned the room down - something was bothering them just one side of the cage. Lots of chin tickling and some food then ok again. :{

That must have been horrible to find! Poor Bounty :( Hope he is ok now x
