Adult Guinea Pig
My guinea pigs have a hutch inside a shed, so if there happened to be a fire, they would hopefully be alright.
I had the pigs inside for floor time, they were running around and really enjoying themselves. Obviously I was sitting there keeping an eye on them. Then the fire alarm went off and I got such a fright. I grabbed all the pigs and put them into their carrier and double checked they were all there. I then went out to the kitchen only to find there wasn't a fire and just a bit of smoke from my brother cooking. I decided then just to put the pigs to bed but they were annoyed with me for ruining there playtime so I had to give them some more lettuce. The whole time I was rushing around and the alarm was going off, the pigs just stood there and stared wondering what on earth I was doing. A bit embarasing but it doesn't matter. At least there wasn't a fire, that would be worse.
