Just Grass? Dodson and Horrell

This may be an old question, but wondered if people fed there guineas D&H just grass ? ( i dont think there'd bea problem with it seing as itis just grass) i know it good for horses but just wndered about guineas ? just as mix with regular old hay for added nutrition or on its own?
 
I have fed just grass too my pigs, it is the same as Readigrass. Different name.

It does also have a high calcium content some advise it is best too feed once - twice a week, as it is believed high calcuim foods can sometimes contribute too stones.
 
I feed Graze On which is the same as Just Grass but from a different manufacturer. I feed in addition to hay but it can make piggies thirsty.
 
Thanks all , i know the need for long hay for teeth etc but just wondered if anyone used the other products and what there experiences were as i was concerned about the calcium too, i just thought it would make a good supplement to the hay they are already having as the quality this year doesn't seem as good as usual.
 
I get it for my horse, so my 3 pigs get some for a treat now and again and my rabbit also gets it. They all love it :))
