.. with Roly. He has been gradually coming out of his shell and letting us stroke him in his cage rather than running off to hide, but has so far hated being handled. I also worried that his trip to the vets last week would have set him back further. (We adopted Roly via a colleague who's young neice wasn't interested - we think he was quite badly negelcted from the state of his water bottle which was bright green with algae and the fact he was terified of humans). Anyway he sat on my knee for ages and snuggled into my arm, and licked my arm and hand loads! None of the others have done this, I was delighted! made me fill up a bit to be honest as I have been so worried about him being unhappy. I am made up -this rounds off a fab weekend, loads more cuddles for Roly coming up!

Aw I hope so! We have tried to introduce him to Scruffy without success - he seems a bit hostile - so I have been worried that he wasn't happy - maybe he is going to be a mummy's boy instead!
 
That's so sweet Katie, Marty just just looked over my shoulder at his pic and yelled 'Awwwwwwwwwwwwww!'

Roly's a real sweetheart isn't he, I love licky pigs :smitten:
 
I've never had a licky pig before so it was a nice surprise! I am just glad he likes me and isn't so terrified of us, poor little baby. :smitten: We just want him to have a better life with us and to be a happy piggy!
