Little Piggles
Senior Guinea Pig
As I haven't been around much, I haven't really spoken much about Hettie, so thought an introduction was long overdue!
After being very happy with five pigs for a good six months or so I made the mistake of looking on Rescue websites. A little aby who has been looking for a home for about three months caught my eye but Simon was adamant that five was enough! Eventually, he came round to the idea but the little aby had been adopted that weekend, so I tentatively reserved a silver rex and set off for Scotland with Boris and Pippa for some piggie dating.
To cut a long story short, the rex didn't like Pippa one little bit but when Boris met 10 week old Hettie (at that time named Polly) it was love at first sight and Pippa loved her too - success!
Intoducing her into my gang could not have gone smoother. She went in the pen with them in the garden that afternoon and has been with them ever since!
She is now about six months old and is growing into a confident and chunky girl. She loves company and hates to be the last in the hutch or run. She has also replaced Marmite as the pig with the biggest wheek.
Anyway, enough of my rambling... here she was today enjoying some basil and a good snuggle
