Hope everyone is having a lovely day!

I just wanted to hear some thoughts on how much floor/play pen time your piggies get?

I used to let my boys have floor time every day but since returning to work this isn't as easy. They have very large cages as you know, but I'm feeling guilty if they don't get out into the play pen everyday? (I invested in the large enclosed play pen, 185cm x 95cm when we got the dog so that I can let the piggies play in their separate secure room, well away from the dog).
They usually get some time in the play pen every second or third day and spend a lot of time in there on a Friday (clean out day). When they are in the play pen I usually find that they want to return to their cages after around 30 minutes, as they start following me and wheeking until I pick them up and take them back to their cages. They also seem to pop corn and run more in the cages than the play pen 🙈

What do you all think? Do you let piggies out to play every day?

Since they have such lovely big cages I think it's absolutely fine that they don't have floor time everyday. The change of scenery will be nice for them but I don't think they're missing out as they're asking to go back after 30 minutes anyway. As long as they're happy (and they definitely sound like they are) I don't think you need to worry x

Thank you! I can't helping worrying (it's one of my specialties.... 😂 ) x

Mine tend to come out every other day (when my brains not playing up) but not every day like I used to with just Jess and Rupert as a bit harder with two pairs, one being new and still a bit wary (well Cleo, Jasper could be out 24/7 popcorning and zooming bless him!), and my plonky brain getting in the way.
If they don’t come out they always have something new in the cage to occupy them, hay pile and a bit of forage, cardboard box full of hay etc etc, keeps them moving and don’t get bored! Especially fat boy Gi or he will be an actual walrus soon the lazy git! XD

Atm while its very cold, my piggies are staying in the hutch which is in the garage. The hutch is plenty big enough for 3 girlies I can keep the hutch warmer than the run which is also in the garage. When it's warmer the piggies are in the run for most of the day. On Monday when its total hutch clean day, the girls were in the run for morning only as it was cold.

Thank you @alpacasqueak 💕 Hope you are having a better week this week! Hope all of the gang are well too!
We’re all ok thanks, plodding along until Lolo op (and stress more!) day!
Try not to worry if you can’t get them out daily, you’ve got double my piggyness so is definitely going to be hard to get everyone out separately away from doggy and stuff (Daisy the cat bad enough snoozing everywhere!)! As long as everyone’s kept occupied, no squabbles over stuff in their big cages etc, definitely try not to worry (coming from the master of stressheads!:)))
