New Born Pup
Hey everyone, my female guinea pig (named Baby) has got what seemed like a URI, however she went to the vets a few months back and the vet said it didn't seem like a URI because of her still eating and being active and not passing it to any of my other guinea pigs. She had some antibiotics just incase and also some Bisolvin, which was to help clear any fluid out of her chest because the only symptom she's got is a deep raspy noise when she breathes.
I treated her for two weeks and she seemed better except she still gets raspy on some days, like it just happens from time to time?
What I was wondering was should I have further tests done on her? The obvious answer is yes BUT the vet bought up the fact that she'd have to be under anaesthetic for some of the tests and obviously that means I've gotta debate whether or not to take that risk for something that seems uncomfortable at times but isn't really effecting her day to day activities ?
Sorry if this post is messy or there are spelling mistakes but it's like 2am here right now.
