Hi just to let you know I reported the people from whom I got the 2 guinea pigs on Saturday. They told me that these animals weren't really being kept in the best conditions according to by information and they have put it on the urgent case list. The lady said I have done the right thing they will let me know the outcome O0

I gave them a thoura going over today they are definitely boys, they have mites/lice, they are frightened to death of humans and their teeth well one has only 1 tooth at the top and 2 broken at the bottom the other has what looks like rot between top 2 and broken bottom ones they will be going to the vets tomorrow wish me luck!

My advice to anyone concerned about an animals welfare is ring the RSPCA they are friendly and helpful and will tell you wether they think the animals are in any danger! ;)

WELL DONE!

Not being nasty to ANYONE but it makes me so bad when people see these things, comment and do nothing! I for one am proud of you! O0

I hope theh get better soon and settle in with their new family! :smitten:

YAY well done you O0 i hope they get the other animals out of their quickly!

Well done Dazie, you have done the right and a brilliant thing. I hope they do something about these horrible people and thank god the new laws have come into force. O0

Well done Dazie. Take some pigtures of the Guins if you haven't already, including their teeth. Weigh them too. You may not need it but it'd be awful if you did and hadn't any records :)

Well done Dazie! O0

Hopefully they will soon get the care they have waited for and deserve :)

good one lets hope they get dealt with, hope the vets goes ok with them , let us know the outcome and ask him to do a report for the RSPCA

Defiantly do as Karen and Michelle has said, it will help to build a case up against these horrid people if the RSPCA decides to prosecute. O0

It's great that you've reported them :)

The RSPCA came to my house once. Thought they'd take my pets away or something but he'd just come to take donations ::)

That happened to me too, only I thought the nasty bloke next door had reported me due to the fact I gave him a mouthful a few days before ;D

OMG I don't know what I would do if the RSPCA was on my doorstep. ::) ;D

They came to mine the other week thanks to some idiot reporting me for overcrowding etc,but then whoever it was shot themselves in the foot as I'm now a mini rescue HAHA ;D ;D ;D

so called do gooders sometimes come unstuck O0

thanks to some idiot reporting me for overcrowding

:o Do you know who it was? Why did they do that? I would go crazy if someone did that to me, thats horrible! :(

My neighbours are exactly the sort of people who would report someone just in order to be malicious and cause trouble. Sadly there are people like that out there. >:(

Well done, Dazie, for taking these piggies and also reporting the people to the RSPCA. Do take pics and keep a record of what these piggies were like when you rescued them. Do the RSPA know what a neglected state these two piggies are in? Are they able to help with vet bills?

no hun but if I find out there will be hell to pay, like I said though, they did me a favour ;D ;D

lol someone who works for the RSPCA lives round the corner from me, I always see the RSPCA van parked outside there house :P

Hope something is sorted with the poor animals soon :smitten: Well done for reporting them :)

years ago I had the RSPCA come round to check on my two dogs as they had been told we had been throwing stones at them yeah right he took one look at the dogs rabbits and piggys and the doves we had then and said it was a malicious call they are perfect and he ended up chatting with me for over an hour, it was a neighbour I had had an argument with got him back, but wont tell you how lol the man thought it was amazing we had a pigeon who couldn't fly asleep with one of our dogs in the kitchen and he watched amazed as he helped himself to the dry dog food and the dogs took no notice ahhhh happy days he died in my arms which cracked me up I said his name and he lifted his little head and died :'( :'( :'( :'( got a lump in my throat now and it was 7 years ago,

its horrible to think that people acctually dont care for animals properly and just treat them like a toy. and i think its very sad that some kids grow up like this to and do unimaginable things to animals. i want my kids to grow up loving animals and caring for them properly. i have guineas and a cat and mom has 2 dogs at her house,a cat and 7 rabbits. he is freindly to them all and gives them all kisses, and i think its great cause he's only 14 months O0

Id like to give these people a piece of my mind. The sheer ignorance of them beggars belief!
Those poor frightenend little animals

May they one day learn to overcome their fears and find happiness. Bless them.

The more I think about it the more I think how terrible it was and i think the piggies are frightened because they may possibly have been in with the huge rabbits the cage they were in was big but I dont think they lived in there originally it was just for show its a shame the rest of the house let them down.

I will be taking the piggies up to the vets this afternoon for a check etc I will take pics before. I wish I had taken pics when I got them home as their white bits of fur werent white!

How long do you think it takes for the rspca to respond to a call? They said they placed it as urgent so does that mean it would be today or maybe yesterday? I am desperate to know the outcome!

Good luck at the vets. I don't really know how long it would take the RSPCA to visit a suspected cruelty case, however, with them saying it has been put on the urgent list I would say they would have visited the place by the end of today. ? Let us know what happens at the vets. O0

Well done for reporting those horrible people O0

I had to report someone to the SSPCA (scottish RSPCA) about his dog, this guy would bath his elderly dog in bleach while scrubing the poor animal with a wire brush, the dog had sores all over his body, he would leave the dog in the house on its own for days with out food and water and the kicked it if it done the toilet on the floor. The SSPCA came to his door and it turned out the poor dog was also blind and had to be put to sleep because of all the things that had happened to it. In a way i felt guilty about the dog getting put to sleep but at least it would be in no more pain. :'(

Why in bleach? Wheres the logic in that? Was he just being nasty?

And yes, that is horrible :( :'(

That is beyond cruel, there are no words to describe how sick that is. :'( May the rot in hell. :tickedoff:

Well done excellent work O0

I'm just back from helping get about 15 guineas out of not so good accomodation, they will now be rehomed in the future and are with someone who will care for the older ones well and will ensure any future homes are spot on.

Its wonderful to think that these guineas we help go on to a much better life.

I actually feel physically sick reading that and on the verge of tears

May that beautiful dog rest in peace :'(
