Just reserved my first ever pigs and I'm so excited!

I'm so excited I think I could let out a great big "wheeeeeeeeek" myself! 98)

I'm having three teddy boars (I don't know the proper terms but two are red, black and white and one is just red and white) who I can't pick up til December but I can go and see them as they're failry close. If I do go and see I promise to take pictures so you can get a sneak preview ::)

I think they'e quite likely to be the most spoiled pigs in the world with my fella who's a chef bringing them fresh greens from the kitchen every night! :)

Any help appreciated as it's my first time!

I think there are a few piggies on here that could compete for the for the "the most doted on piggies".

Welcome to the board, you will find a whole host of help and any questions just ask, there always some one around "who knows"

Congratulations! How on earth will you wait til september? I'm far too impatient!

Are the 3 boars already living together? Apparently it can be quite difficult to keep 3 boys in one cage.
 
Yes they are brothers so have been together since birth. So fingers crossed they'll be ok!

I think I will have a lot of trouble containing myself until December although I'll be saving hard to pay for everything I need for them so in a sense I'll be getting a bit closer everyday O0

I still can't wait to have cuddles though! I may be going round to bug the breeder every weekend at this rate! :D

December seems to be a life time away :-\.I am also getting some new Piggies in December and I cant wait

Welcome! I know the feeling well - I got far too excited and impatient before my piggies arrived, and when waiting for Catherine to have her babies! Can't wait for pigtures! :) :)

Well, where do i start as piggys need soo much love and attention as they are naturally frightened but some do get more used to you than others theyll always run into hiding ;D
Theyll need lots of vit C which you can get from fruit and veg O0 Avoid the vit c drops as there useless
Plenty of hay is needed for them ti nibble on and can also be used in their bedding apartment

If they are boars I'm just gonna warn you about fighting as they do sometimes have a teen stage where the dominant one will war the others and could lead to blood but if there growing up together this can be reduced as i have 4 boars in together and there all fine i did have more togetehr but as i had more room i split them up so they had even more room

If you need anything else then just ask us as thats what where here for O0

Are they gonna live inside or outside ?

They need lots of play time so an outdoor run or indoor one is good for them to excercise and eat grass :smitten:
 
With them being litter mates you should have no problems the key to keeping them happy is space O0 plent of it with boars I would sudgest a three tier hutch ;)
Dazie on here has two bonded brothers and a trio of brothers all living happily :)
 
Congrats on getting some guinea pigs (when they come).Guinea pigs are so cute and they love there own loads if you bond well enough with them.

When i got mine it was a sunday.I had saved up about £100 pokcet money (i only get £4 a week too!) and we went to have a look at them.I saw a white/black one and a brown one and wanted them sooo much!So we picked a hutch and cause we were gonig shoping we had to get the nice lady to reserve them for us!So we were walking round morrisons and i was like really happy and i kept asking mum to hurry up xD.

They looked so tiny when they were in the box.
