I'm not sure if the link works, if not:
The RSPCA is appealing for information after a blind baby guinea pig was abandoned in a cardboard box inside a carrier bag on top of a wheelie bin. The box was found at 6.30pm on Sunday 21 November on top of a wheelie bin outside a house in Radcliffe Road, Southampton.
RSPCA AWO Sue Brooks, who is investigating, said: “This poor creature had a very lucky escape. There is never an excuse for abandoning an animal in this way and I would urge anyone with information about this animal to call us on 0300 1234 999 so we can ensure there are no other animals in the home which are not being properly cared for.â€

Poor piggy :( How can people be so cruel? Especially at this time of year, he must have been freezing! :(

Can't believe that people do such cruel things, why not just take the poor chap to a local vet or rescue and hand him in.:(
He really needs a loving home now in time for christmas.

I would love to have him here with me and my girls (he would be fixed of course).
He is a darling.
Some people really do wind me up, some many blummin evil people out there (thats putting it nicely)
I do truly hope he finds a very special home as he truly deserves it.

x

poor little darling reminds me of last year when i had my 2 baby pigs dumped on my doorstep :( i hope he gets a new home

ahh the bit that makes it more sad for me is that the sign says "please take care of IT" that's just mean he is lovely what a sad christmas for that piggy not to have a forever home :(

Sometime you loose faith in the human race, but he's safe now thanks to the human race in the form of the RSPCA,
You have a future to look forward to now little Fred

How very sad but it doesn't surprise me that there are people ? out there who would do such a thing at least the little chap is going to be well looked after and have a better life.

It's all over the news now - turns out Fred is a female, she has been renamed Beattie! She is being looked after at RSPCA Ashley Heath near Ringwood in Hampshire. I hope she finds a loving home...anybody on the forum live near? ;)

Oh bless her poor little thing. Some people are just evil. I hope she finds the perfect home.

Poor little thing :( I'm so glad she was found quickly and is now the the good care of the RSPCA. She reminds me of Pippa with her colouring.

If she was in he North-west, I'd definatley have my name down to offer her a home :)
