So when we introduced Tomie last summer, Leela went from being subordinate pig to boss pig, and she was pretty insecure about it. She accepted Tomie, but was sometimes very over-the-top in laying down the law and making sure that Tomie stayed in place. That settled down months ago, but we still seldom saw Leela and Tomie share space together and Tomie getting chased out of hideys and such was a regular event. However, over the past few days, I've noticed that at night, Leela and Tomie will share the pigloo to sleep, side by side, and Leela seems okay with it. It's really sweet. Most of my other piggie pairs have done their own thing during the day but slept in the same place at night, so it kind of warms my heart to see Leela and Tomie do the same! Not sure if Leela has finally figured out that Tomie isn't coming for her crown so it's okay to relax or if she's just older and can't be bothered bossing Tomie around every minute, but it's really sweet!
