I ran out of my regular Timothy Hay and went to the store to get more but decided to get Orchard Grass Hay instead to give it a try and i have never seen my piggies eat so much hay in a day! i had to refilled their hay a few times during the day. While with the Timothy hay i would only have to do it once a day.

Is that the one made by oxbow?

If it’s the oxbow orchard grass my two love it but I only give them a handful once a week or the oxbow botanical hay instead which they also love.

Yup. My herd eats only Orchard grass because I me. I hate grabbing Timonthy Hay and getting poked every time I stick my hand in the box so I did the switch and it feels like heaven on my hands.

Oxbow Orchard Grass is fab - every blade is eaten by my piggies. It is softer than Timothy Hay which tends to usually be more coarse.

Orchard Grass can vary depending on season etc which is usually explained on sellers website descriptions of it but it has always had the thumbs up from us as it is soft and green, smells lush and fresh.

I buy the 1.1kg which goes a long way - obviously depending how many piggies you have. I currently have four (another two from the RSPCA that I am collecting soon) - I put it in their hay racks and not as sleeping hay each morning and it is all gone by lunchtime.
