A female guinea pig! Had a phone call eariler today from a lady who said, she had a guinea who she thought was going blind! She dropped her to me at about 5ish!

The woman wasnt very interested in the pig :( it didn't have a name and she didn't know how old it was,and untill i looked she didn't even no if it was male of female!

The guinea is a try colourd, mid length hair, its matted tho :( and I think she is going/ is blind, her left eye is all cloudy :/

No pics atm, just leaving her to settle in over night, she is terrified! will put pics up tomoz! x

She has gone in with my old girl Flo, who is very mothering, and spent 10mins cleaning and genrally mothering her! She has nommed afew greens, aand has a big apatite! Don't think she'd even seen hay before tho! poor little might, thought all her christmasses had come at once! She was nomming soo much on the hay!

I'm pretty sure shes not pregnant, the woman said she wasn't put with any males, but concidering the woman didn't even know is the pig is male or female who knows :/ The piggie is fairly fat, but not hard fat like my other rescue Ediie was when she was pregnant, so atm shes on pregnancy watch, but i don't think she is ! x

Ahh poor thing. I am glad she is now with you and can enjoy the rest of her life being happy :)

People make me so angry how they treat animals. Would they treat a human like it? Grrrr

I'm just relieved this woman had the brain cells to ring you - shudder to think what could have happened otherwise :(
She's safe now thank goodness and is obviously in great hands x>>

oh crikey! Thats a sorry state of affairs although it is good and reassuring to hear she is now getting the care she deserves
