What a carry on! They officially hate me. Hoggle screamed so much then when I put him back in the cage, he seriously wet himself. :(

I don't think I have cut him nicely because he was so scared.

Not sure whether to bath them tonight or not, is it best to get it all out of the way? I have placed their pen in front of the radiator to help them dry in case I do bathe them.

Can you just tell me if these weights are healthy for 3 month olds? It was hard keeping them still but this is what I got...hope it is accurate enough.

Hoggle - 609g
Ludo - 697g

I haven't managed to weigh them for a while as my scales conked out but I have managed to get them working now.

You might as well go on and get it out of the way - that way they freak out and you are public enemy only once! mallethead

Aw poor you - they will get over it! I'm waiting to bath my guys for the first time this weekend so that they have the daytime to dry. I assure you there will be much wailing when I do the toe clipping and bathing (Mum! Why are you trying to drown me?).

Make sure you give them some tasty treats - the love will reappear!

I have given them their 3rd bowl of veg, here comes a 4th if it is bath time! BF has discovered football is on so that will delay the bathing! mallethead

dont worry to much, best to get it all out of the way in one day;),the weights sound good;),they will most likely settle in time once they have been with you longer and once they have had a few haircuts, mine just sit there and let me do it now as they had cuts done at the rescue a few times,it will get better xxxxx

I have just bathed their bums! Once again, they are not impressed.

Hoggle as usual cried the way through. They are feeling sorry for themselves now in their pen.

How long will it take for them to dry? Don't want them back in their cages with wet bums. I was going to hold them in a towel but I don't think they like me. {:|8...

it depends on weather/temp of room, hair length and density and how active they are as to how quick they will dry, usually with my "scared boys" i turn the heater on in cooler weather and put them in the run with no hideys as they wont dry as quick if they are in them then i close all curtains to make the room dark and "safe" and then leave them pretty much alone with just little checks on them as they feel more comfy running around if you arent there and then they dry quicker.
You can give them a quick towel dry, just 20 seconds each then they should dry within 30mins depending on how long the hair is but you just cut it so it cant be to long,
If Hoggle is reacting like that he may just hate bathing,i have one boys who screams and rips at my hands at bathing timerolleyes

Hehe, they have been in their run, they are now wrapped in tea towels on my knee as you will see below. They aren't happy but they look so cute wrapped up! :<>

They have both started crying so I have had to put them back in their cage in the kitchen to keep warm and in peace. 8... they don't wuv me...:0

LMAO! Sorry but they do have that slightly miffed look about them! But they are men so what did you expect? :)) Dont worry they wont hold a grudge, they'll soon forget and you can always bribe them with something tasty ;)

Aww, bless them. I love seeing them all wrapped up, they look so cute! I'm sure they'll forgive you once you give them something yummy to eat. I felt awful when I gave my boys their first bath but they got over it pretty quickly, the crunchy red pepper helped! x

Naughty daddy put the last pepper in our tea so they didn't get any! :o

I gave them other treats though, they cry now when I pick them up, stroppy little ! :0

I love that tea towel pic! :<>

my girls cried loads when i bathed them the first time, now my long haired one just stands there, the little multicoloured still cries and tries to get out, so there is hope!

Sadly the long haired one hates having a trim and hates having her nails clipped so much that she'll try to escape, scream like she is being murdered grrrrgrrrrgrrrr and cries for a while afterwards!

Doesn't make you feel so bad though...yes I am sure they are milking it, they weren't crying when I was rustling the veg bag! rolleyes

Their bums are lovely and soft now. :)

They still had their 'I Hate Mummy' badges on this morning. :...

They are still not my friend. :(

They didn't popcorn at all when I was doing their veg, then I came back with some peppers and Hoggle popcorned but that is all I have had from them. I hugged them before and Hoggle was crying and Ludo was seriously vibrating, is that fear? :(

Here they are feeling sorry for themselves...

bless them, they are gorgeous little guys. I wouldn't worry about grumpy faces, Caramel gave me the grumpy face earlier then gave me kisses! :<>

Poor boys! I hope they're friends with you again now after all of their lovely treats.

My Willow doesn't really seem to mind the bath and will just stand or wander up and down. Pippa on the other hand tries her darndest to escape and tries to leap over the side of the bath (although she's never managed it! :)) ) and I usually end up with scratches down my arms from catching her mid-jump rolleyes

YOUR PIGGIES ARE SO DAMN CUTE!! I love looking at their pics! :) Esp the wrapped in towel ones ^)

Bit worried as I think they have lice and Hoggle looked a little small but their weight has gone up:

Hoggle - 644g
Ludo - 707g

Does that sound normal to you from the weights in my first post?
